By 1819, Napoleon had wreaked havoc across
Europe and in that year, 600 German Evangelical Christian war refugees
found their way from Amsterdam to New Orleans in search of freedom. By
the time they arrived at the Port of New Orleans, they were
anything but free. What happened? Well, that's an incredible story that
Christians and New Orleanians almost 200 years later will really
appreciate.
As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, may Pastor Randy's message "Redeemed to Freedom"
recorded at last week's Worship Village, be a blessing to all who have
ears to hear.
